he scholarships are distributed on a “need basis” to ensure that any child desiring to attend one of the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Fall River will have that opportunity. A formal application procedure is required of all who wish to apply for aid. The applications and supporting documentation i.e. personal income tax information,  W2’s, etc. are forwarded to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment of Lincoln, Nebraska for tabulation and review. Following their recommendation and that of the principals of each school, financial aid awards are made to qualified applicants in need of assistance. The Diocesan Office of Development coordinates the application process and the disbursement of the “need based” scholarships.

In January of each year schools make applications available to those families already enrolled and others who are newly registered for the upcoming school year. Those families interested in attending one of the 24 elementary or middle schools in the Diocese should contact the principal of the school in which they have interest for further information. Once registered for one of the schools a family may apply for assistance.

All schools sponsored by the Diocese of Fall River are committed to providing quality Catholic education. They are equally as committed to doing their utmost to make these schools accessible to all children who wish to attend.
